Who We Are

The Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation is a Colorado 501 ( c ) (3) non-profit charitable foundation organized in 1997 to enhance the quality of life for residents of the greater Eagle County community, with a particular focus on addressing medical and educational needs. The Foundation’s Federal Tax ID Number is 84-1442704. The Foundation has been granted tax-exempt status as a publicly-funded foundation by the Internal Revenue Service.

What We Do

The Sonnenalp of Vail Foundation has been charged with administering the charitable giving of the Sonnenalp Family of Resorts and Hotels, so it has been able to provide a large number of in-kind services such as silent auction items to fundraising events within our local community for causes which reflect it’s mission. In addition, it has made several donations in support of facilities in the Denver area which provide medical services unavailable to families and children here in the Eagle Valley area.
